The Railpath Arts Centre operates with the intentions to create movement, art, community, empowerment and well being on this land in support of sovereign indigenous land. The centre and it’s members currently situate themselves as uninvited settlers in the city colonially referred to as Toronto, where they positively and respectfully direct energy on the traditional, ancestral and unceded land of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples. This land is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples recognized and unrecognized. The centre and its members are grateful to be here.
